Tasker's Chance is an exceptional trio of hammered dulcimer, fiddle and guitar that blends the 17th, 18th and 19th Century music of America's past with historical content.  Whether you are seeking musical entertainment from a particular era or educational programs illuminating the importance of music during the development of America from the Colonial era to the Civil War, Tasker's Chance can provide entertainment to meet your particular needs.

We are available to play for all occasions in the Maryland and greater D.C. area including concert series, school programs, dances, receptions, private parties, weddings, and other rites of passage.

America’s 400th Anniversary sails up the Eastern Seaboard with port visits by the tall ship Godspeed, a replica of one of the ships that brought America’s first permanent English settlers to Jamestown, Virginia in 1607. A Landing Party Festival features live music, family entertainment, and interactive exhibits that give a glimpse into early 17th century life and America’s legacies of democracy, cultural diversity, free enterprise and exploration as they continue today.  Open free from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends.
